Bushwick Community Partnership Initiative brings together a diverse group of organizations, some of which have decades-long roots in the community. The partner organizations reflect the cultural and ethnic diversity of the community. Under the name Bushwick Making Children Important (BMCI), this CPI is working to strengthen families by linking them to support services that promote the health and safety of children.

Bushwick Community Coalition Updates

Bushwick CPI The Bushwick Community Partnership Initiative will be hosting Foster Parent Recruitment events at the Dekalb Library, the third Wednesday of every month, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Bushwick CPI welcomes this opportunity to speak with prospective foster parents. Prospective interests will have the opportunity to speak with recruiters and current parents every third Wednesday of the month. Bushwick CPI hosted a “Thank You Dinner” for the Bushwick community. The dinner was held at Buena Vida Rehabilitation Center on February 13th, 2009, located at 48th Cedar Street in Brooklyn. Over 50 people attend this forum including community members, potential foster parents, youth guest speakers, and more.
