The Bushwick Community Partnership Initiative will be hosting Foster Parent Recruitment events at the Dekalb Library, the third Wednesday of every month, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Bushwick CPI welcomes this opportunity to speak with prospective foster parents. Prospective interests will have the opportunity to speak with recruiters and current parents every third Wednesday of the month.
Bushwick CPI hosted a “Thank You Dinner” for the Bushwick community. The dinner was held at Buena Vida Rehabilitation Center on February 13th, 2009, located at 48th Cedar Street in Brooklyn. Over 50 people attend this forum including community members, potential foster parents, youth guest speakers, and more.
