Spring Community Fair May 21st, 2011

On May 21, 2011 – Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM: The Rock Church, Families Building Community, SCO Family of Services, Steinway Child and Family Services, and The National Black Leadership Commission on Aids are having a SPRING Community Fair. The fair will be held at The Rock Church 57-02 Hoffman Drive, Elmhurst, New York 11373 (Across from the Queens Center Mall). Rain or Shine, it will take place! It is indoors. The fair will give people an opportunity to find out about summer camp, get identification tags for children’s safety, have medical screenings done for diabetes and glucose, find out about health insurance, see if someone qualifies for benefits (Temporary Assistance, Food Stamps, HEAP, Lifeline, Child Care, Head Start, School Meals, Medicaid and More), and to receive information on financial education and legal issues. All of this is for FREE!!! Plus there will be raffles, give-a-ways, carnival games, air bounce for children, face painting, arts and crafts, music and food.
