Program for pregnant mothers with intellectual disabilities.

Sinergia HEALTHY FAMILIES NEW YORK - In collaboration with University Settlement Society of New York, we will provide to pregnant mothers with intellectual disabilities an intensive home visitation and training program with the explicit goals of: • Promoting positive parenting skills and parent-child interaction • Preventing child abuse and neglect • Supporting optimal prenatal care, and child health development • Improving parent’s self sufficiency
