Long Island City Health Center Workshops

Community Healthcare Network's Long Island City Health Center is proud to announce the start of a series of new workshops. If you would like more information about any of the workshops please feel free to call the number listed on the flier. Also, if you have a group of clients and/or staff who are interested in attending, I attached a generic sign-up sheet. First, we have a family planning workshop. Our Health Educator, Rahwa Haile, will speak about sexual health and answer any questions. This is a great workshop for adults and teenagers. Next up are the nutrition workshops. In honor of "American Heart Month," our nutritionists, Eva Mancheno and Sara Pelligrini, will teach participants about healthy eating. We also have on-going parenting classes facilitated by Donna Downes from Forestdale, Inc. The classes are fun and interactive. A parenting certificate is offered to those who attend at least nine classes! Please share fliers with clients, staff and other Community Based Organizations! Thank you!
