APRIL 25, 2011
When we look at a child, we look toward the future. We think of education and question what will be the future for them. Most parents grin at the site of their child because they see themselves in that small body. They dream for them and hope for the best. Every child deserves to be loved.
One of the greatest tragedies affecting our community today is that of Child Abuse and neglect. We can prevent it by building strong communities that actively support families by providing them with the proper resources. The first step is to raise awareness.
Latin Women in Action, Inc is concerned with the increase of child abuse and neglect in our community. We invite you to participate in our first event in commemoration of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Our goal is to reach the community at large on the issue of child abuse that affects many
today.
What can you do to help?
