FREE Diabetes Self-Management Classes

Brooklyn Partnership to Drive Down Diabetes (BP3D) is offering two Diabetes Self-Management (DSMP) courses this summer! This is an empowering 6-week course on how to manage diabetes, including monitoring blood glucose levels, dealing with common symptoms, and learning new ways to cope. It is free and open to anyone with diabetes in Brooklyn. Classes will take place at CAMBA in Flatbush, Brooklyn on Monday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm starting July 11, 2011.

Participants will receive Metrocards for each session they attend.  Participants who complete all paperwork and attend 4 out of 6 sessions will also receive a graduation certificate and gift card.
Light refreshments will be served.
Registration is required.  Seating is limited to the first 25 registrants.
