FEGS Health and Human Services is currently recruiting for the next cycle of the Young Adult Internship Program (YAIP), which begins on November 28, 2011.The Young Adult Internship Program (YAIP) is a 14-week internship program for New York City young adults aged 16-24 who are not working and not in school. YAIP is composed of a paid three week orientation, followed by a paid 11-week internship.

This year-round program, serving approximately 1,350 youth per year, incorporates ongoing education, as well as other participant and employer supports. Upon completion of the internship, F·E·G·S will provide nine months of follow-up services and assist the program participant in finding permanent employment, enrolling in training programs, or an educational program such a GED prep class or a college prep program.
