Elmhurst Community Coalition Update

On Valentine’s Day this year, The Elmhurst CPI, Families Building Community, held the first Foster Parent Recruitment Event in the Elmhurst community. The event was held at the Queens Center Mall and the theme that surrounded the event was "Opening Your Heart and Your Home". All in all, The Elmhurst CPI was able to distribute over 1000 recruitment flyers to the community and attract 30 potential foster parents. Little by little, Elmhurst CPI is spreading the word about the importance of becoming a foster parent.
