Department of Transportation events

The Department of Transportation has a few events coming up. On Saturday, September 24th, they will be conducting a “Get Car Smart” Family Safety Day and a car seat check event as part of Child Passenger Safety Week. The event will be held at Brooklyn Safety City, Main Floor, Woodhull Hospital, 760 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11206. They will be doing another car seat check event this Saturday, September 10th, from 11 AM – 3 PM, at Safety City, 672 W. 158 St., NY, NY 10032. The flyer for this event is attached. The car seat check is free and no appointments are necessary; the hours are 11 AM – 3 PM. The Family Safety Day is also free and open to all families; the hours are 11:30 – 2:30.
