ANNOUNCEMENT: 2011 Summer Institute Program at Queens CUNY

On behalf of Dr. Madhulika Khandelwal, Director of the Asian/American Center (A/AC) at Queens College in New York City, I am writing to let you know that we are offering another exciting Summer Institute this year entitled "Redefining Asian Americans: Youth, Culture, and Community in Multicultural Queens, NYC." We were able to enroll a wonderful group of college students across the country for our last year's Summer Institute and received an overwhelmingly positive response from the participants! We are delighted with the opportunity to offer another weeklong program for the 2011 summer and would appreciate your efforts to publicize the Summer Institute to college students -- particularly those who are interested in the fields of Asian American studies and race and ethnic studies. The application deadline is May 30, 2011.
